Scarlett's Top 5 Old School Picks

As School House Rock would say I’m unpacking my adjectives when describing my latest top picks. They are by far the coolest old school finds. For an array of reasons these items are great decorations from a child’s room to the teacher’s desk these are my top five picks.

You may ask, "Who would think to have the back of a school bus as decor?" Of course, we do! This is such a rare find to have in any room. Personally, I think it would look great in a child's room as a head board. ($595.00)

Another great find are these trays. These are unique as decoration and could also be used for a dinner party. ($22.00) Side note, we also have some really cool jewelry made from locker tags.($36.00)

Now on to office supplies. Hands Down this is a pick, just looking at the rulers they so interesting. You could use them as a paper weights or fan one out and put pictures or Post-it's on it
($14.00 each)

Who doesn't need a pencil every now and then? These are a pick not only because they are vintage but, they are also from local Tennessee businesses. ( $1.00-$3.00)

Last but not least are the pencil sharpeners! They have to be one of the most fascinating items on this list. No one can deny that they scream old school. These would look so unique sitting on a desk (along with the vintage pencils!) versus the usual plastic sharpeners they make now. ($36.00-$65.00)

WARNING: these are not your typical school supplies that you can just go anywhere to buy. In conclusion, I am assigning you homework – come into our store and check out all of the spectacular “back to school supplies” that Scarlett Scales Antiques has to offer. Also do not forget to like our page on Facebook.
